co detectors

CO detectors are probably one of the most important safety items in your home. CO (carbon Monoxide) is responsible for thousands of deaths every year. Sadly though, many of those deaths could be prevented if there were enough CO detectors in good working order, and in the right locations in the home.

So do you have a CO detector in your home? Where is it located? Many times on a home inspection I will find that, while a CO detector is present, it may be missing its batteries, be older, or otherwise not in good working order.

CO detectors are not always the first thing on our mind in life, but take a moment and check on them, updat them if they are 5 or more years old, and be sure to keep yourself and your family safe.
